Our Hula Hoop Classes are a great way to get fit and stay in shape! Hula Hoop Dance is the latest fitness activity to emerge in the UK, it's a fantastic form of cardio exercise which will really work those abdominal muscles.

Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult but please be aware that these are adult-size hula hoops and younger people may find them rather heavy.

Think you can’t hula hoop? Think again! Anyone can master the basics of hoop dance. The hoops we use are specially designed for adults and unlike the children’s hoops available in toy stores our dance and fitness hoops are larger, heavier and have improved grip. This enables the hoop to move slower and provides more momentum which makes the hoop stick to your body as you spin it, making it far easier to keep the hoop up and learn new moves.
 
Shape and tone your body with this brand new, fun & sexy form of exercise. Learn the basics of hula hooping, then master a range of mesmerizing hula hoop moves, that combine to create a full body workout. This workout can help speed weight loss, sculpt and strengthen abdominals, thighs, buttocks and arms, improve cardiovascular endurance, increase flexibility and relieve stress.
 
Hula Hoop Class
 
We recommend wearing clothing that is not too baggy, sleeveless tops are great as bare skin on arms provides a natural grip. Cotton and natural fibres are best; avoid synthetic materials as these may cause the hoop to slip. Bare feet, socks or dance shoes may be required for some tricks.
